Bloom Pottery

Bloom Pottery is a ceramic studio and nursery located in West Adams, Los Angeles. Seeing a need for creative spaces in their community, Hattie and Lionel started Bloom Pottery with the hopes that individuals and families would have an accessible space to create, experiment, and collaborate. Visitors are invited to craft unique pottery that they could then use to plant and grow a flower of their choice.

The brand identity is rooted in play, imagination, and community. Visually, the logotype is loose and free, akin to that of handwriting, and the color palette draws from the earth tones of clay, plants, and flowers. The flowers and planter in the logo are customizable so that visitors of the studio are able to draw and color in their own, allowing for personalization and continuing to foster the philosophy of community and collaboration.
