Calaveras Media Internship Work

The drawings you see are ones I created as part of a years long internship I had as a freelance illustrator for Robert Blake Whitehill, author of the action thriller Ben Blackshaw series. I was tasked with creating promotional artwork depicting scenes I chose from the author's first and second book-- Deadrise and Nitro Express, respectively. These scenes were ones that I thought deserved to be illustrated because of their relevance to the plot or because they were particularly action-packed. Upon completing my art, it was posted on social media for Mr. Whitehill's audience to see.

I mostly created the art depicted by myself as I was given plenty of creative freedom by Mr. Whitehill.
