These are selected panels from my Senior Thesis project for college-- a comic 12 panels long. Inspired by my time working at Shop Rite just before the recent coronavirus pandemic, this particular project of mine is intensely personal to me, as it deals with a moral dilemma I faced when the pandemic began, and I was forced to choose between continuing at my job to earn income (but at the cost of possibly getting sick), or taking a leave of absence to protect my family and friends.
In the end, I decided to take a leave of absence because I realized I could always earn money later on, and that my health, and the health of my loved ones, was far far far more important.
Like my other projects, I created this comic by myself but also had some help and critique from my wonderful professors. In terms of artistic and design choices, I specifically chose to draw the comic in black and white and red to highlight my Shop Rite uniform.
