A few years back, I was hired by Ogilvy to help pioneer an ambitious news room initiative for the largest B2B brand in the world, IBM. This primary role of this social activation was to listen, react and respond to topical stories and events relevant to Big Data & Analytics in (near) real-time. It was a challenging exercise in speed and persistence, but we managed to keep the brand socially relevant by continuously cranking out high-quality infographics, social tiles and slide shares with an unprecedented turnaround, often as little as a single working day.
