Constant Therapy is a speech rehabilitation app for people struggling to speak after a brain injury. After a stroke or brain injury, survivors with aphasia spend weeks, months and even years working to get out just one word. After her stroke, Mary couldn’t say a single word for seven weeks. To bring to life the intense struggle that Mary and others struggling with brain injury face, we created a film that follows a single word, “baby”, trying to get out of a damaged brain. Every scene is inspired by the science of speech loss and real patient experiences. To watch the full interactive version of the “One Word” film, and to learn about Mary’s struggle to regain her lost words, visit oneword.film. Proud to have been a small part of this with a terrific and talented agency team including Larry Kirschner, Guy Mannshardt, Anna Lopez, Jason Graff, Dave Adler, Tim Hawkey, Elliot Langerman, and Robb Brady; production partners Lightfarm (with Stefani Pimenta, Krystal Leasure, Rafael Vallaperde, Kawe de Sa, Milton Menezes) and Canja Audio Culture (Lucas Sfair, Filipe Resende); and our wonderful client The Learning Corp, makers of the Constant Therapy app.
