Shado Mag x Counterpoints Arts: Editorial Illustration

An illustration for an article in celebration of Refugee Week 2022.

The article is written by artists, activists and journalists who are creating change in their communities and exposing first-hand the hostility of the UK’s asylum system.

The piece depicts the image of a single mother of four kids looking up and seeking support. They are surrounded by eviction notices, rejection applications, junk food and moving items which make them very stressed, and therefore has compromised their quality of life.
