As our design team at Nasdaq scaled and we had multiple design work streams, it became really important to create cohesive experiences across all our platforms. As the design system lead, I wanted to make sure that the designers had the freedom to design great interactions without the need to worry whether a button looked right. That's when we began creating our own product style guide and pattern library. This tool quickly became the online resource for all development and design teams through out the organization. I helped established the look and feel for all patterns, as well as, oversaw the implementation of interactions and overall functionality.
