We needed to get Gen-Z aware of 7-ELEVEn’s Fresh or Free coffee promise. We started with the insight that people who drink black coffee think they’re hardcore for doing it. But, it’s also an indicator of the coffee’s freshness – and 7-ELEVEn’s coffee is fresh enough to drink black. So, we released a song made for TikTok to allow creators to make in-feed ads. With pop punk and emo making a comeback, it made sense to tap into that trend.
