We La Gente

Given the political climate of September 2018, Xfinity, headquartered in the birthplace of this country, wanted to reach Hispanic Americans with a meaningful message beyond just recognition for Hispanic Heritage Month. We set out to empower the voices of the Hispanic community by leveraging a first of its kind bilingual piece of technology, the X1 Bilingual Voice Remote, that embodies the intentions of our Constitution. We launched the campaign on the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, reminding Hispanic Americans of the power of our voice while recognizing the contributions of Hispanic culture in shaping this great nation. The campaign culminated in a documentary film, garnering countless accolades and earning awards in film festivals all over the world.
