When Planets Mate

This video is a psychedelic space odyssey, exploring the origins of life and humanity's quest for transcendental knowledge while voyaging through a psychonautic world melded from biology and Hindu myth. I co-wrote this short film with Chakram who provided the avant-garde/electronic soundtrack and the foundational vision for the film. Over the course of 6 months, I directed and animated this piece along with one other animator, using hand drawn animation to bring various characters to life in this dream world cross between a music video and a short film. It has screened at festivals around the world and was featured in Rolling Stone India.
