Seriously Good Ice Cream

I connected with Dr. Mis after responding to an ad for ‘packaging designer’ on the RISD alumni job board. Dr. Mis was declared legally blind shortly after turning 40. He went thru great challenges to continue doing what he loved, practicing medicine. With the help of technology he continued as a board certified gastroenterologist with a practice in Rhode Island. By facing challenges and change he wanted to bring his A game to his plan B. One of those plan B’s was to become an entrepreneur. He knew that 90% of the population eats ice cream but only 3% of get enough fiber for wellness. He wanted to launch a product called Seriously Good Ice Cream, an all natural ice cream with a fiber benefit. The design needed to be simple and communicate the unique health benefits. Steven Noble created the scratchboard style illustrations. I colorized them in photoshop. I managed the project from proposal to Phase 1 designs to release to printer.
