Crocs Mock Campaign
Crocs have made a significant turnaround once it entered the realm of high-fashion under the “Ugly Shoe Trend.” They regained popularity after collaborating with major artists and brands to create unique and customizable shoes. Some of these major collaborations include Post Malone, Balenciaga, Barney’s New York, and Chinatown Market. Interestingly enough, Crocs does not advertise these shoes. To the general public, Crocs are still associated with being quirky and a little ugly. For this campaign, the goal was to introduce and accept this new fashion-forward image of Crocs as its own. The campaign is meant to demonstrate the innovative and contemporary side to Crocs that are playful and break the stereotype that Crocs are ugly and unfashionable.
