Clearing Thoughts is a multi-channel awareness campaign that aims to raise public interest and educate a younger audience on the effects of dementia. My goal was to create a positive visual campaign to encourage reform, share public experiences and empower all affected by dementia. I wanted to take the user through a visual journey that would enable them to stop, take notice and promote a more positive response to the condition.
The visual elements were built around two distinctive ‘muddle mark’ icons, a simple yet striking colour palette supported by a hard hitting yet relatable message. The strategy behind the campaign was to make people stop, take notice and know that they are not alone.
