'Jux Lucid LIVE' live dance/visuals/score interactive installation
JUX LUCID is an ongoing, evolving live dance film experiment with humans moving through space, exploring the juxtaposition of body, music, mind, world.
This interactive installation was a live event that opened up for the Crystal Method in downtown LA as part of a KCRW presents event.
Along with my team, we designed and built an interactive stage with live visual effects, and choreographed a dance with 3 dancers. We incorporated a Phantom camera that was projecting live shot super slow motion visuals on big screens to the side of the stage. We also had a live electronic score written performed by J Clark. After our performance, members of the audience were invited up on to the stage to interact with our live visual effects and take home a slow motion Phantom camera shot with them.
This is only a small proof of concept for what is designed to be a much larger interactive experiential event.
