Ochre Bakery Identity
Working closely with Ochre Bakery and Mike Burdick, I developed a brand identity and in-store materials for their grand opening. We worked collaboratively to incorporate colors, marks and themes from (the businessowner) Jess Hicks’ art and her homeland, Australia.
Hand-drawn marks, rich colors and a subtle balance of hand-drawn and serif type brought the identity together. Earthy and elegant, the system worked beautifully with the finished space alongside its open plan, natural wood and painted tile counter. The system also worked in an online context with a temporary landing page and designs for future content.
