Covid has obviously affected everyone, everywhere in the world. In the US and much of the West, the frustration with remote learning almost immediately reached a boiling point. But in other parts of the world, it’s presented new opportunities by forcing new approaches and even reforms that promise positive lasting change.
Bada Ya Dhiki Garaja (Swahili, "after hardship comes relief") is a short film documenting how when the pandemic threatens the survival of a school in Kenya, its principal is inspired to take action that will change the school forever.
