The Moton Museum
I was a part of the team that created the graphics for the Robert Russa Moton Museum, in Farmville, Virginia. The Moton School is the site of the 1951 student strike, led by 16-year-old Barbara Johns that became one of the five court cases included in the historic Brown v. Board of Education decision, ultimately leading to the desegregation of public schools in the United States. My role was to create wall-size graphics, as well as working on the layouts. I was also tasked with image research and permissions.
