Charlotte: One Year Later
One of my proudest moments was launching this website in partnership with the City of Charlotte, NC. I built and customized a WordPress site as part of the city’s “One Year Later” campaign. The goal was to provide a central platform where the city could share its reflections on the 2016 riots and gather stories from its citizens.
The city provided branding, imagery, and copy. My role was to organize and present the information in an engaging way, encouraging visitors to participate in the conversation. I used a simple black and white color palette, accented by the city’s signature green. This serves both to contrast with the city’s main website and tie back to it.
This website encapsulates the kind of work that drives me, a mission rooted in moving communities forward.
