My mother is a genealogist and has discovered so many family secrets and stories over the last years. One of her incredible finds were two diaries of my great great grandmother who saw her son go to war in 1914. For 4 years she kept detailed notes and duplicated the letters she sent to and received from her sons at the front in her little notebook.
It was about time to bundle all these notes, letters and pictures and share this with the wider family and friends. These two books are the start of a larger collection that give an insight into World War I for our family and how events changed their lives over 4 years.
