Fanjoy needed a redesign of all their email flows to better represent their fun and eclectic brand. As a company that largely relies on its creators to establish the look of their marketing campaigns, Fanjoy’s voice has rarely made an appearance in its assets. Without having official brand guidelines and knowing that email is often the audience’s only exposure to Fanjoy’s look, I used this opportunity to design a foundation for the brand. I collaborated with designer, Brijae Morris, to nail down the vision and enlisted her help to illustrate some icons that embodied the style; a California je ne sais quoi. The result is a melding of vintage laid-back influence with a youthful twist for a familiar but dynamic appeal.
