Summerhouse is a digital magazine highlighting Washington D.C.’s creative underground. As the lead art director and designer, I conceptualized & built the brand identity, drawing inspiration from traditional print editorial. The resulting brand system is flexible enough to accommodate a wide variety of artwork that is featured throughout the website, and nods to tactile zines through the playful inclusion of printer’s marks as tertiary elements. The promotional video was used as a fundraiser asset to raise money for the first issue of the digital magazine.
