Dialing in on safety for a brand that pairs strangers was changing was a challenge. To develop a solution for Uber to stand for and lead the discussion in women’s safety, we pushed the brand towards a more human-centered focus – with our focus on women drivers. We outlined where Uber currently stands on safety and uncovered that women’s safety parameters are influenced by the presence of other women, they feel safer when they are together, there is power in the pack. This led to our strategy to bring the power in the pack to the heart of Uber, through strengthening connections and empowering a community.
