This is an excerpt from one of my projects, which involved helping users of a large flower e-commerce site find the best bouquet to send to a loved one.
We were successful in getting higher conversion rates for our users, but we weren't getting the amount of engagement we were hoping for. Only 11% of users on the page were clicking on our banner, so I ran a test to try and increase that with copy and different value props.
There were 3 variations:
i) the control, which said it would help users find the right bouquet amidst all the options.
ii) Variation A, which said it would help users show their emotions.
iii) Variation B, which said it would help users save time.
Variation A increased our click-through rate from 11% to 21%; an increase of 91% overall!
