Uber: Brand Leadership

Incidents of sexual assault and harassment in rideshares have been on the rise, making many female riders apprehensive to use these services. Despite adding new product features and publishing an industry-leading safety report, Uber struggled to communicate their progress to female riders. The brand asked us to propose hero actions to reduce sexual assault on and off their platform, become a thought leader in women’s safety, and inspire other organizations to take action. As Lead Strategist, I guided the qualitative research that was integral to insight discovery, contributed to the presentation narrative, and conceptualized hero actions for Uber to implement.
