Mens´Health Editorial Shooting

A lightpainting studio-shooting about triathlon with the ironman champion Sebastian Kienle for Men´s Health Germany: Biking, Running, Swimming.

Openers and doublepages for each discipline and training steps were on wishlist of the editorial staff from Men´s Health Germany.

Combining Pixelstick patterns with flashlight (biking), fiberoptic brushes and Leds (swimming) and strobed blades with flash (running) allowed me to create different looks for the three triathlon disciplines.

The make­up artist came up with a special water­spray so the athlete was looking like in full sweaty action and in full speed.
First we went threw thesingle steps of the lightpainting with studiolights being switched on, so the athlete knew exactly what to expect in the darkness.
