Orbitz Plant Pop-Up Hotel
Orbitz offered green-loving guests the chance to book a room inspired by the Garfield Park Conservatory at the Kimpton Gray in the Chicago Loop. From fern-filled and mossy King chambers with deep soaking tubs, to Queen Deluxe rooms surrounded by cacti, succulents and desert shrubs, guests experienced a whole new travel landscape during their stay - no green thumb necessary. Each room came with relaxation kits to submerge guests in the sights, smells and sounds of each plant’s natural environment!

The Sugar Room is inspired by the sweetest room at Chicago’s Garfield Park Conservatory. Step aside Willy Wonka—these plants are making all the edible delights. The room features food themed art and décor to elevate your live plant experience.
The Fern Room is inspired by the iconic room at Chicago’s Garfield Park Conservatory. A multitude of variatels of live ferns and themed art and décor bring the room to life.
