Lightbox OOH operates a network of several thousand digital out-of-home billboards across hundreds of shopping malls in the United States. Since movie studios are a major category of advertiser for Lightbox, and many of those malls have movie theaters in and near them, I created a fully dynamic system of templates to display upcoming movie showtimes alongside their animated posters. These templates automatically pulled and displayed the right showtimes for each movie in each mall. It was a heavily scalable program that could be used to bring in incremental revenue with minimal effort.
In a very short period of time, dozens of films across multiple studios took advantage of this turn-key program.
