Golden State Warriors - The Town Jersey Kit

In 2019 the Warriors played their last season in Oakland before moving across the bay to San Francisco. To honor the city they've called home for 46 years—but never worn on their chests—they released The Town statement jersey. For the release we made custom kits to give to people important to the Oakland community and the team, playing off of the team's Strength in Numbers slogan with a series of Our Strength Comes From You videos.

We partnered with local retailer Oaklandish to create the kits and package everything together. Each one included personalized jerseys and local goods from Oakland. We also designed a book to go in the kits chronicling the 46 years the team played in Oakland, divided into chapters based on past jersey designs—ending with The Town jersey.
