Taproot Magazine: 2016 Covers

I illustrated the covers of Taproot Magazine for 2016. They include MYTH, PRESERVE, WANDER, and SHARE.

For MYTH, I focused on folklore like the tortoise and the hare, mythology like the golden apple and pan flute, and imagery of magic and luck, like the wishbone and mugwort.

For PRESERVE, I focused on food preservation techniques, including canning, pickling, drying herbs, and making jams.

For WANDER, I focused on camping, hiking, and exploring in the great outdoors.

For SHARE, I illustrated two birds sharing a nest, alongside the things we share with our friends and family: a cup of tea, food, books and stories, our crafts, and more.
