Hakoniwa Coffee - Merchandise Design

T-shirt design for Hakoniwa Coffee, a small café in Miyazaki, Japan.

hakoniwa can loosely be translated to “miniature garden” in English. Drawing visual inspiration from the name of the café, I included a miniature bonsai tree in the pot of coffee.

ハコ is the katakana writing of hako which is present in the center of the design, floating on the surface of the cup of coffee.
