I am the copy editor for Salty Magazine, a digital and print food magazine. The magazine is collaborative - pieces are either interviews or sent in by chefs and experts from around the world. Often, these articles are written, then translated into English. While fascinating to read, this format presents editing challenges. My goal is always to preserve the author's intent and style.
