EBAY MOTORS AR RICH SHOPPING EXPERIENCE
As part of the new "rich shopping experiences" initiative I introduced at eBay we developed an AR-triggered experience for eBay motors, starting with Jeeps. By pointing the phone's camera at any Jeep the system recognizes the model/year of the car and the accessories it has been fitted with. The user can then touch the "hotspots" to shop for the specific items on eBay's large inventory of Jeep parts and accessories, while a multitude of other rich content immerse the user in relevant info about their passion and shows the breadth of spectrum of value that powers eBay's inventory.
