Foamcore Lamp

My goal was to create an object that had a strong interaction between light and shadows out of foam core. The main constraint was that I wasn't able to use any adhesive or connection method besides what the material had to offer. This forced me to think about how to manipulate the foam core into shapes that used it's materiality to my advantage. The final iteration was cut from a single piece of foam core and was scored and folded to achieve the form.
