I suggest going to the project URL to get a full grasp of the project. Publication created by 20+ Senior Visual Communication Students at Champlain College. Each student was tasked with creating an article and as a group were tasked to form a cohesive identity for the magazine. Each article had to be entitled “Why ____ Design?”. We split into three smaller groups to focus on the Print, Marketing, and Digital aspects of the publication. My cover was selected by my peers and chosen to represent the publication. I was on the Marketing team. In addition to working on our own spreads we were tasked with creating an installation on our college’s campus and series of promotional material for the publication. Sadly Covid-19 hit the United States during the course of this project. We were forced to cancel the event and move everything online. We met on Zoom for a few weeks to give feedback to one another and finish up the publication. It was a great team-building experience, even with the hurdles that Covid-19 gave us.
