This was a small (we’re talking <$90K) budget project to promote an actual, legally recognized national “day” put together by Seagram’s 7 to support failing dive bars nationwide. The ask was to get people into dive bars on Dive Bar Day. So we released music from The Kills, a band with deep roots in dive bars and their patrons, exclusively in dive bar jukeboxes. We also pressed the tracks to vinyls because that’s awesome.
