U.S. Soccer approached AKQA with their iconic team crest, four guiding principles and a brief to redesign their website and app. As one of the lead designers, I helped with the creation of an overarching digital brand design system that would influence all subsequent digital deliverables, as well as playing a large role in shaping the UI for both web and app.
Launched before the kickoff of the 2019 Women’s World Cup, the first-ever U.S. Soccer app was designed to serve the content fans care about most—focusing on the live match experience and giving unrivaled access with real-time stats, match visualizations, replays and more.
