The Telegraph

The Telegraph is an Indian English daily newspaper, with an editorial policy that supports, among others, secularism and a free state. Fifth most widely read English newspaper in India, it is widely regarded as an emblem of everything a modern newspaper should be. Coupled with a long tradition of talented journalists, it has led to the evolution of print content towards local rather than national. The challenge with reporting local content, however, was that The Telegraph’s success in India was geographically limited to the East. To appeal to a much wider pan-Indian audience, The Telegraph needed to redo their digital news platform, both in terms of content and visual language. As a part of Nh1design, I designed a comprehensive online brand language for Telegraph India from the smallest details like a favicon to data-centric Infographics. This project was completed during my tenure at NH1 Design, as a part of the studio's design team. Please visit nh1design.com for details.
