BTS World Tour
All of it Now worked with FragmentNine and Plan A to design stunning particle-driven content for both AR and physical screens.
Using Stype positional camera-tracking, Notch real-time rendering, and disguise media server technology, we designed what would come to be known on the twitterverse as the “BTS Hologram.” Real-time rendering tools allowed us to rapidly iterate and even customize messaging for each stop along the tour.
Ultimately, this performance is one of the earliest examples of AR used in a live event / performance, and we won a Gold Telly Award in the category of Immersive & Mixed Reality: AR.
I was responsible for not only creating the AR graphics, but also motion design for multiple tracks throughout the 3 hour long spectacle on a larger-than-life, automated LED wall.
