Retail and Campaign Concept for Mitzi Lighting

Mitzi is part of the Hudson Valley Lighting Group that focuses on different design and interior styles with each of their four lighting brands. They are all driven by the same principles: a design-driven culture, attention to ever-changing environmental considerations, the pursuit of excellence, and commitment to the highest possible quality. Their modernistic and contemporary lighting style brand Mitzi was approaching to leave the B2B realm to become a Direct to Consumer brand with physical stores in the US. The retail concept emphasized the idea of the campaign: each “Mitzi” is a star on their own and needs to be highlighted. Drawing inspiration from roman architecture and sculpture galleries, the store’s visual fix point is a colloseum-like wall displaying each fixture design in their own alcove. Within the floor space, designated areas allow for each fixture to show lighting type, temperature, and style. Only hinting at the space and not prescribing a certain interior design style is meant to inspire customers to create and expand on their own idea of how the Mitzi will help illuminating their spaces.
