Founding Editor and Editorial Director of Spotlyte by Allergan

I am the founding editor of Spotlyte, a digital beauty and medical aesthetics editorial content hub created by Allergan in collaboration with BCG Digital Ventures that launched in September 2018. In under six months, it amassed over 1 million unique visitors. As the founding editor, I oversaw the creation and launch of Spotlyte’s omni social media presence, YouTube channel, branding (visuals and voice/tone), franchise ideation, editorial calendar, review process, and a custom CMS. I hired, managed, and mentored a 10-person editorial team, including visuals editors, social media editors, and content editors, and a fact-checker/copy editor (as well as 30+ national freelance writers). As a leader, I attended industry events and spoke on an American Society of Dermatologic Surgery panel about social media.
