Client: Season to Taste, a business led by Chef John Eisensmith selling soup, sauces, and more to local clients, as well as offering methods-based cooking courses in Durham, North Carolina Task: Curate a “homemade” essence for Season to Taste while maintaining a level of seriousness and legitimacy. Role: Illustration, brand design Approach: Illustrate a rustic purple onion and pair it with a handwritten-looking font to establish a “homemade” feeling. Collaborate with the founder over three months to discuss iterations before finalizing two logos.
