The Ellesse brandbook’s purpose was to clearly redefine the brands graphic and visual codes and refresh colour palettes for each of it’s lines: ‘Heritage’, ‘Sport’ and also it’s newly conceived luxe line launching in FW20.
I also designed a series of new signature print patterns that have subsequently been introduced into the current SS20 collection.
The brandbook would inform both Ellesse’s in-house designers at Pentland and also external contractors who needed colour and materials direction when designing new retail outlets and trade stands.
We also tweaked the Ellesse logo and introduced a new supporting typeface alongside the original and recognisable ‘Bodoni Poster’ font.
