New York City Ballet – Art Series

In order to attract a younger audience to New York City Ballet, we created a once-a-year show called Art Series, which commissions contemporary artists to create original works of art inspired by NYCB's spectacular dancers and one-of-a-kind repertory of ballets.

For the inaugural 2013 installation we invited the urban art duo of Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller, AKA FAILE, to create original works for the art exhibition. And since then, artists such as JR, Dustin Yellin and Geronimo have joined the program.
