One of the biggest problems that we face today is climate change and many brands are looking to see how they can make a difference and help the community. Beyond Meat is one of those brands founded with the goal of making a greener earth by reducing our carbon footprint. The way they work to do this is through the sales of their plant-based meat products. However, many consumers only see them as a vegetarian brand and not a brand for social change. We wanted to help Beyond Meat promote its brand and mission past traditional advertising, so we created the My Environmental Footprint app for them. Through this application, users will be able to track their carbon footprint and see what they can do to reduce their CO2 impact. Through this app, users will not just learn about their impact but also about Beyond Meat and their cause. I was responsible for researching the brand and all about environmental change, created a brand brief, developed target consumer and strategy, formulated app flow and design along with the creative concepts, research and developed app calculations, and managed and oversaw my team.
