Self-Help Comic - Branding

Reading is an important activity for everyone to do and no group more important than children. Due to technology and the availability of screens today fewer kids are getting excited about reading. We were tasked with creating a self-help comic book for teenage girls that they could turn to for information. We realized that one solution isn't right for everyone and in order to grab the interest of our target we needed to create an interactive experience that would offer different solutions to problems they face. We created a series of choose your own adventure style comic that would allow the reader to solve different problems the way they felt best related to them. My responsibility was to conduct research and analysis of our target audience and the style and genre of book, product conception and development, strategy creation, columnist editorial and marketing, and development plan.
