Chevron Talking Cars
Who better to introduce the benefits of Chevron with Techron’s cleaning additives than the ones benefiting the most – the cars themselves? Together with Young & Rubicam Group Creative Director Charlie McQuilkin, I concepted car-centric scenarios and conducted interviews with non-professional talent to edit unscripted sounding audio tracks that were used by Aardman Animations. It talked about technology in a very human way, even if the spokespeople weren't people at all. Adweek called it a "campaign of the decade." It's still going.
