he goal: Present the possibilities of a partnership with Monumental Sports to a group of select Compass real estate agents, including examples of a branded suite, high-impact listing advertising, and individual agent marketing. My presentation showcased a new and dynamic visual language for the Compass brand that matched the excitement and fun of the arena. The process: The central piece of the partnership was a Compass-branded suite in the Comcast Center, This not only gave Compass agents brand visibility and a broadened potential client base in the sports and entertainment industry, but also provided added value for agents when bringing guests or clients to games at the arena, allowing them to leverage their VIP networks. The ideation phase was informed by research on Monumental Sports as well as case studies from Compass’s design team in San Diego, who pitched a similar partnership with the Padres. My presentation showcased a new and dynamic visual language for the Compass brand that matched the excitement and fun of the arena. Dubbed “The Players Club,” this branding concept reimagines current Compass brand elements like the dot and needle patterns into a new visual playbook. Play diagrams, shot clock numerals, and reductive rink and court line drawings come together to evoke movement, excitement, and fun.
