When the Supreme Court finally agreed to hear the case for marriage equality, the conversation quickly became about politics rather than the actual LGBTQ people who were waiting to get married. We created Supreme Save The Date — an online tool that allowed same-sex couples to customize and send actual wedding save the date invites for their upcoming weddings to the Supreme Court Justices. The goal: Show the justices just how many real people’s lives would be affected by their marriage equality decision.
