Fantasy Landscapes
PLAYLAB, INC.’s second large-scale public artwork for Avenue of the Americas, took over four distinct locations along NYC's 6th Avenue in the summer of 2019. This time we, as a studio imagined bringing the larger than life landscapes of South America to an interactive scale in the form of scenic handpainted movie backdrops. Tourists, commuters and workaholics alike were whisked away from the big city bustle if even for a moment.
