Spirit of St-Clair Mural

MRL™ is Liang Wang, Leone McComas and Nuff Canderel Residential engaged us to create a mural for their newest development, 900 St-Clair. Leaning on the diverse histories of the neighbourhood and conducting research including demographic studies and rummaging through archival images, we proposed a multi-layered mural that captured the spirit of the neighbourhood through the ages. Food, fashion and fun were three key themes. Our final piece blends old and new through hand-painted realism, stencilled graphics and warped typography. Thanks to Akin Projects for their support.
